ABOUT US

The Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Pasqual
Oral & Maxillofacial
Surgeon

Dr. Pasqual is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon specializing in oral-facial surgery and dental implants.

Oral and maxillofacial surgery is a surgical specialty that focuses on surgery of the oral cavity and contiguous facial structures.

Training requires years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school.

Dental school is a required component for this surgical specialty due to its emphasis on surgery of the facial complex. A thorough understanding of head and neck anatomy as well as form and function is necessary.

Board certification in this specialty is comprised of a comprehensive written and oral examination covering all aspects of oral and facial surgery.

As a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Pasqual manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth and facial regions.

Dr. Pasqual practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery for adults and children with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery, trauma surgery and facial aesthetics. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. We also diagnose and treat facial pain and facial injuries including facial fractures.

Mission Statement

The goal of our surgical team is to provide the very best care to our patients.

Our patients are considered family and are treated as such.

We understand undergoing surgery can be a stressful event in life. My team and I are committed to minimizing stress.

We believe that this is best achieved through good communication and understanding. We want our patients to be well informed about their dental / medical condition and associated treatment options.

I will meet with you and your family to explain procedures and treatment plans. We will review the alternatives together, discuss the associated risks and benefits, and answer all questions.

We are dedicated to delivering superior individualized patient care, unsurpassed service, and unparalleled surgical excellence with compassion and care. The team and I look forward to meeting you!

Philanthropy

ASCPA

Mission

The ASPCA’s mission, as stated by Henry Bergh in 1866, is “to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States.”

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) was the first humane society to be established in North America and is, today, one of the largest in the world.

Our organization was founded by Henry Bergh in 1866 on the belief that animals are entitled to kind and respectful treatment at the hands of humans, and must be protected under the law. Headquartered in New York City, the ASPCA maintains a strong local presence, and with programs that extend our anti-cruelty mission across the country, we are recognized as a national animal welfare organization.

We are a privately funded 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, and proud to boast more than 1 million supporters across the country.

As the first humane organization to be granted legal authority to investigate and make arrests for crimes against animals, we are wholly dedicated to fulfilling the ASPCA mission through nonviolent approaches. Our organization provides local and national leadership in three key areas: caring for pet parents and pets, providing positive outcomes for at-risk animals and serving victims of animal cruelty.

History

Incorporated in 1866 by a special act of the New York State legislature, the ASPCA has a history rich in challenges and victories—from providing care and protection for the city’s working horses and transforming dog pounds into professionally run adoptions facilities to founding an animal hospital that is still running today.
